NEW! — CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS — AN ANTHOLOGY OF WORD SONNETS(proposed print edition)

*Posted August 15, 2007
*Closing November 15, 2007
*Open to all word sonnet practitioners

We are currently accepting submissions
for a new, comprehensive anthology of word sonnets.

The word sonnet is a relatively new variation of the traditional form.
In essence, it is a fourteen line poem, with one word set for each line.
Concise and usually visual in effect, this "miniature" version can contain
one or more sentences, as the articulation requires.

Only word sonnets submitted electronically will be considered.
Please send up to 25 unpublished and/or previously published word sonnets
to the editors for consideration:
Friday.Circle@uottawa.ca

Please include the words "Word Sonnet Anthology" in the Subject line of the e-mail
and a short, one paragraph bio-bibliographical note.
